The house was built in 1895 by Baron Paranapiacaba. Inside there are still ruins of the 1st brick building in Brazil, which hosted Martim Afonso from 1532 to 1533. It currently has an exhibition space that is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 18pm and Documentation Centre (Cedomir), which is open Monday to Friday from 8h to 18h. Oscar Niemeyer also left its mark in St. Vincent with the construction of the Memorial of the 500 Years of Discovery (Alameda Paulo Gonçalves, s / n), in 2002, on top of Porchat Island, the one designed by him around the coast. The monument is 76 m above the sea level and has capacity for 250 people. The cover, wing-shaped concave, has a ceiling panel of photos and pictures telling the story of the country Its apex is pointed to Brasilia. CULTURAL CENTER OF PICTURE AND SOUND OF VINCENT
