Oscar Niemeyer also left its mark in St. Vincent with the construction of the Memorial of the 500 Years of Discovery (Alameda Paulo Gonçalves, s / n), in 2002, on top of Porchat Island, the one designed by him around the coast. The platform has a bold design with bold curves and lines in concrete, since it was the first to explore methods of applying the material.
